Hello!

I’m Esther Chelladurai, a Licensed Mental Health Service Provider and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.

If you’re reading this, perhaps you’re beginning to prioritize yourself, your well-being, and your self-care and that takes courage.

I believe therapy is about more than simply learning how to cope. It’s about understanding yourself, healing from what has hurt you, and discovering the confidence and resilience you need to move forward.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel heard, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and take the next step toward the life you want.

A Journey Rooted in Experience, Compassion, and Purpose

My professional journey has taken me through inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, where I worked with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. My Phase 1 and High Acuity Brainspotting certifications has further strengthened my ability to provide trauma- and somatic-focused care, helping clients connect with experiences that may be difficult to express through words alone.

My experience with adoptive families at the Papillion Center for FASD deepened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and their families. This work taught me the importance of nurturing parenting skills, building connection, and creating supportive environments where children can feel understood and safe implementing Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) and its principles. Working for TeamHealth in nursing facilities also gave me valuable insight into the emotional and psychological needs of older adults and the unique challenges that can accompany aging and life transitions.

I began my clinical career at Cumberland Heights inpatient treatment center, where I developed a strong passion for helping individuals affected by addiction. I later worked with Mental Health Cooperative (Nashville & Murfreesboro), where I helped develop and provide services through a Medication-Assisted Treatment program, supporting individuals experiencing significant substance-use challenges during the pandemic.

Over the years, my experience has expanded to working with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating ADHD, trauma, personality disorders, behavioral challenges, grief, anxiety, addiction, and major life transitions.

Today, I bring these experiences together in my private practice with a deep belief that healing is both personal and purposeful. Every client brings a unique story, and I strive to meet each person with compassion, understanding, and respect for where they are in their journey. Alongside my professional training and experience, I am grateful for the divine wisdom that continues to guide me as I support others in finding hope, healing, and a renewed sense of direction.
